More in the weeks to come. Stay posted! In Light, Elizabeth Mars, the Catalyst of the Solar System, recently entered Leo, the most dramatic and expressive of signs, for 8 months. Since it is usually in one sign for about 10 weeks, this is a long time! The reason for the long stay in Leo is that it will be going retrograde in December. And so, we will be getting a good dose of Mars, a most fiery planet, in the first sign of Leo. Fire with fire indeed. So what can you expect from this double dose of fiery energy? Mars gets things going. It initiates and invites with great enthusiasm, that we get going in some area of our lives. It could be a project, a diet, a business, an exercise regime. It may be taking a class, creating your own website, painting a room red. You get the picture. On November 15, Saturn in Libra will square Pluto in Capricorn. This is a very significant and rare event that will have long-lasting impacts at many levels. These two energies are at odds to the degree that power(Pluto) seeks to override truth and justice (Saturn). Saturn in Libra places a strong emphasis on what is fair and just, and seeks to maintain and/or restore order and uphold justice. And Pluto in Capricorn can be a heavy-handed ruler with its own agenda. This aspect will be impacting existing systems for some time, through next Summer at least, and as it does, there will be many shifts along the way.
A new site format with a blog and a new name! Change is in the air at Astrology of Light, formally StarPathways. I seemed like it was time to have a site devoted to astrology, and so, Astrology of Light came into being. My intention is to create another site in 2010 devoted to Tarot, but for now, there is lots of information about the Tarot on Astrology of Light. So what does Astrology of Light mean? The name really does reflect, even reveal, how I see astrology: as a reflection of Cosmic Light. The Cosmic Light of Creation, if you will. It is not quite as esoteric as it sounds…well maybe it is. But I see Astrology of Light as a means to relay to you these things as I understand them so that you will, hopefully, be able to apply them to your life insights from this perspective. |
