Uranus Station ~ Lunar Eclipse: Messages in the Chaos?

Uranus is stationing direct now at 0°38′ Aries. During the days (and even weeks) surrounding this event the energy will be interesting, dynamic and maybe even feel somewhat strange. While Uranus does station direct once every year, doing so at the first degree of Aries is a once in a lifetime event (less, actually). This is a powerful indication that new beginnings are at hand and that change is in the air.

The impact of this event is made all the more potent by the Lunar Eclipse that is also occurring this weekend. Insights and messages offering guidance are present everywhere–keep on the look out for them! New directions, understandings and pathways are now ready to reveal themselves.

Here are some things you may notice:

Your basic energy may be erratic, fluctuating from one extreme to another for the next few weeks.
Feeling either wired and hyper or the other end of the spectrum as though you are stuck and going nowhere. Both are possible.
You could feel nervous, anxious or edgy, jumping when the phone rings.
Feeling impatient, as though things just can’t happen fast enough.
You may have sudden bursts of energy, either physical or mental.
You may feel scattered and ungrounded, finding it hard to focus.
Some may feel quite psychic and intuitive as Uranus can increase these frequencies.
Difficulty sleeping or relaxing as your mind is very active may occur.

The higher frequencies will express in these ways, which you may also notice:

Openings to higher truths, bringing clarity and revealing new avenues and directions.
Clever, even brilliant, ideas and inspired thoughts can come out of nowhere and from unusual and unexpected sources.
Solutions that you had not thought of before can appear during this time.
Take special note of those that are original and fresh, things you have never seen or thought of before.
All this can bring you greater clarity and fresh, new perspectives.

Keep in mind that events may occur during this time that may make no sense now or that may seem insignificant. Yet something may happen now that will play a key role in your life down the road. Hence, anything that seems a bit odd or unusual, or beyond “coincidence” or if you get an interesting idea in a flash of insight or perhaps in a dream, make a note of it! You may want to refer to it later.

Intense Energies A Foot

Every so often there is a combo of astrological events that creates so much tension it affects many areas of life and lots of people. We are under one of these now. Can you feel it? It feels as though a spark could ignite a blaze in an instant and things could escalate on a dime.

Riots in London, economic melt downs right and left and today was the most powerful Sun flare in years (an X-7) to add yet more intensity to the air.

That Cardinal Cross is back!

So what is happening? Basically Pluto in Capricorn, Mars in Cancer, Uranus in Aries and Saturn in Libra are forming a Cardinal cross. Yes…it is indeed back (this was very potent during the Summer of 2010). AND right now, and for the next 24 hours, the Moon is also in Capricorn, adding a strong emotional element to the mix.

These combined impact the most fundamental areas of our life. Work, finances, relationships and home. Our sense of security and trust in the future is challenged as many strive to find answers to the challenges they face.

But Wait ~ There’s More!

Further, Mercury is Retrograde while opposing Neptune. This can confuse things, making it extra difficult to gain clarity and direction. Are we hearing the whole truth, you may be wondering under this influence as deception and the “spin doctors” are most prevalent now. BE SURE to check and re-check your plans and arrangements now!

And then there’s the Full Moon, too!

Saturday (8/13) is the Full Moon which also creates a build up of energies. This Full Moon is in Aquarius, which creates a feeling that what is happening “in the World” is impacting you personally. The events that are occurring on a global level are of a far-reaching magnitude and this is quite apparent now. Even though things are happening externally that impact you and that seem outside your control, how your respond is up to you. This is a key to moving through these times with Grace.

What to Expect ~ What to Do ~ Where’s the Hope?

What to Expect and might be feeling:

A sense of urgency. The energy feels odd at times and erratic.
Tense and irritable.
Anxious, worried, fearful or helpless to effect change in your life.
Off center or ungrounded.
Angry or frustrated.

What you can do:

Slow down. Especially if you are about to react to something.
Do things that keep you grounded: walk, do yoga, hug a tree!
Don’t add too much to your plate and simplify where you can.
Use common sense. Elaborate schemes are not likely to work so well these days.
Don’t hurry around. Deep breaths.
Don’t try to figure everything out at once. Answers will come when they are meant to.
Remember that you are doing the best you can.
Acknowledge that yes, change is in the air. But it may be exactly what is needed now. Trust.
Ask your Guides to raise your frequency so that you may rise above the turmoil and fear.
Ask your Guardian Angels to keep your protected from negativity, fear and panic that is in the collective. These do NOT have to be in your space.
Help others by being available, kind and tolerant.

Where’s the Hope:

These are challenging and trying times. Be honest with yourself about this. Yet it is by Cosmic design and you signed up to be here now. Get in touch with the part of you that consented to this and you will find the strength and courage you seek.
Know that you have all the resources and help available to you that you need.
There is assistance and hope to be found. Keep looking.
You are a powerful being with unique gifts ready to come forth and be shared.
The Light is all around you, in you and available to you.

Wesak Full Moon Tuesday, the 17th

The Full Moon in Scorpio is on Tuesday the 17th (*times in various zones below) and is also called the Wesak Moon, the Full Moon of the Buddha. A time, it is said, that the Hierarchy who oversees the planet’s evolutionary and spiritual path descends from Shamballa to grace and offer guidance to humanity with Light.

When we are able to feel or sense that we are indeed being watched over and guided as we walk our Path to a greater recognition of who we truly are, it can radically alter our lives. As we see and feel these subtle yet pervasive connections we begin to see that we are not separate or alone, that there is infinite abundance, that the Universe~Spirit~God’s substance is Love and it’s expression is transmitted through Light. Opportunities for feeling this connection in energetic ways and on the inner realms is heightened now. You need not be particularly knowledgeable in any specific practice or way, but rather to be open and willing to receive. This openness to receive this Universal Grace will shift how you see and know yourself.

This release of benevolent energy can increase your perception, give you clarity and bring you peace of mind. The influence of this Full Moon is often felt as an expanded awareness of one’s own reality. You may see or feel things outside the “normal”.

This Full Moon, more than any other during the year, reveals your hidden self~that which is in the dark, ready to be seen and to receive the Light. During this week open to and focus on what is being bestowed upon you from these great benevolent Master Teachers. Attune to any personal messages that come through as these may hold keys to the next direction your life is to go.

And pay careful attention to your dreams and any symbols that come before you for the next several days. Know that your own inner teachers are wanting to lead you to greater Light.

In essence, I suggest that you do only this: allow yourself to be found.

Full Moon In Cancer~Releasing Family Patterns

The Full Moon in Cancer is Wednesday, the 19th at 29°27′ Cancer at 1:22 pm PT, 2:22 pm MT; 3:22 pm CT; 4:22 pm ET; 9:22 pm GMT; 7:22 am on the 20th in Sydney, AU.

This can be a most emotional full moon as feelings of nostalgia and thoughts of days gone by make their way into your psyche, adding an intensity to the already strong feelings associated with the powerful changes that many are feeling these days.

All themes related to family, home, the past, generational issues, mother/father, children and traditions are accented. Navigating this time is going to require a good dose of personal mindfulness and awareness of others feelings, as many will be feeling quite vulnerable and sentimental.

This Full Moon is forming an exact sextile to the Moon and trine to the Sun from the Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in Pisces. This is rare indeed and opens the door to understanding why you are in the place you are as a result of your spiritual lineage and karma.

Considering what lessons there are to learn from those who came before you in your family, especially of your parents and even their parents, will help you to see the patterns that were passed down to you. This does not absolve you of the issues, by the way :~) but rather offer insights into what it is you are to learn and to change. Doing this will raise the vibration of the lineage for all those who come not only after you, but before you as well.

A suggestion: I believe that every Soul Group has a Band of Angels who oversee the evolution, protection and progress of that group. Ask for help from the angels that are “assigned” to your Soul Group to bestow you with Light and show you the openings you need to work through and clear these patterns.

This is an unusual combination of aspects occurring this week that can create a space for clearing out the old, through realizing that you have out grown that form and move on. Accessing it now will assist you in taking full advantage of the new cycle we are entering now.

Wild Energies Afoot

It will be a thrilling & wild few days.

Mars squaring Uranus now is generating chaotic energy. This, with the Uranus station also happening now, act like waves or pulsations from a higher realm and means change, shifts & openings are afoot. It’s designed to upset the apple cart, forcing us to see things differently. You can pretty much expect it to be challenging to stay focused & grounded for a few days.

We are also in the Balsamic Moon phase, the time of the Lunation cycle just prior to the New Moon, which is on Monday. This is the time of month to retreat, go within & listen attentively. Messages, inspiration & guidance is found in the silence. This is where your Light is to be found.

The two energies present now may seem opposite. Mars and Uranus are very dynamic and active, seeking outward activity and expression. The Balsamic Moon until Monday asks us to stop, to meditate and seek stillness. The KEY is to find the center of the storm by listening carefully. Doing this often during the day will let the dynamic energies find their right expression in your life, but in a way that is exciting and life-affirming.

By Monday or Tuesday, you may well have the clarity you have been seeking of late. Remember to ask for insight and Light. It is all around now.

Dynamic December Energies

There are two periods this month that are particularly dynamic Astrologically. One is the first few days of December, from about the 2nd to the 7th. Mars will be squaring Uranus while Uranus is stationing direct. Both are occurring during the New Moon in Sagittarius on Monday the 5th at 9:36 am PST/12:36 pm EDT. These will bring major new perspectives and shifts, no doubt.

The other is from the 8th through the 15th, when Mars and Pluto are conjunct in Capricorn, with Mercury as well–while it is stationing retrograde! Whew! Communications are going to be very intense at times, as well as misunderstandings.

Both of these time periods are very dynamic and exciting, and could be intense and overwhelming, too.

Re-Group Day

I love days when I can just regroup. And I love it even more when that coincides with the lunation cycle. Both are true today, until the New Moon in Libra Thursday at 11:44 am PDT [12:44 MDT; 1:44 pm CDT; 2:44 pm EDT].

While the New Moon each month is a time to begin anew in some area of our life and to see things from a fresh perspective and then to begin to shift our focus on those things we want to create in the next few weeks, the 2 days before the New Moon are perfect for clearing away the last months energies, tasks and agendas (of course you can always bring those into the new cycle).

Today through mid-day tomorrow (10/7) we are in what is called the Balsamic Moon Phase. Which is essentially the couple days before the New Moon each month. It is a time to wind down, to regroup, to breathe out. Pushing ahead isn’t what this time of the month is for.

Here are some words that come to mind to describe this energy: reflect, reconsider, clear away, relax, slow down, observe.

And as you are considering the next few weeks and what you want to focus on, here are the qualities to incorporate (during this time of Libra):

Establishing greater balance in the areas of your life that are calling for it.
Looking at how you can create a more natural flow and order in your day.
Beautification of your surroundings (can be as simple as putting flowers on your table).
Including others in your ventures (work or play).
Listening well.

So during the next 24 hours or so, take some quiet time and really look at what you want to have happen and what you want to accomplish in the next Lunar cycle (4 weeks). This could be mundane things like stack your wood (it’s on my list), rake leaves (ditto) or other tasks of the season. Or it may be take the next steps in a project you are working on. Or it may be apply this energy to your spiritual path. To stop and reflect on what qualities you want to bring into your consciousness and thus into your life during this month.

To be in the flow of the natural order of things, as shown to us through the astrological events occurring,
can be a great help during these often hectic, chaotic and challenging times.

New Moon in Libra & Venus turning Retrograde this week

Venus & Moon

This week there are two events occurring that are sure to place extra focus on relationships:
The New Moon in Libra is on Thursday and then on Friday, Venus is turning retrograde.

If you are in a relationship, this combo will bring to light some interesting issues that may need to surface and see the light of day so that they can be dealt with.

There are other areas these energies will be influencing as well, such as balance, order, partnerships and all close relationships.
