On this page I share some thoughts on my approach to doing Astrology and Tarot readings.
~ What Happens in an Astrology Reading ~
There are several areas that can be discussed during a reading with me, depending upon what is up with you. I believe you will find that the information given in your reading will be grounded and applicable as well as compassionate and insightful, and I try to combine this with common sense and a dash of levity.
Here are some areas we can discuss in your reading:
- Any specific issues or challenges that you are dealing with, as well as your address the questions you may have.
- The astrological influences that are currently affecting you, specifically as they relate to what is going on with you at this time.
- Insights into the best ways to work with the astrological events influencing you at this time.
If the reading is more about your chart from a Spiritual perspective, these are some things we will discuss:
- Your gifts, offerings and contributions to the world, that are uniquely yours to bring forth and share, as indicated in your
Natal Chart. - What you intended to focus on and learn this lifetime.
- The challenges you consented to live with and work through in order to learn these lessons.
- The abilities, skills, innate wisdom, inner strengths and traits that you built into your chart, thus your life, to assist you in accomplishing your lessons and give you what is needed to continue to move towards the manifestation of the intention you set forth from your Soul.
- Information about your Soul Purpose, especially as indicated by the placement of your Lunar Nodal placements. This alone can be enlightening and a catalyst for positive change.
As you discover the higher truth that is revealed in your chart, my hope is that you will see with greater clarity that you are a part of the Universe in a way that perhaps you have never seen before. It can even facilitate the process of healing separation as you become more aware of how magical and synchronistic your chart is as it reflects your gifts, your offering and your essential self, as well as the challenges and lessons that must be learned along the way.

Your Celestial Mirror™
I feel that nothing tells your story, announces and proclaims your place in the overall scheme of things, and reveals who you are like your natal birth chart. It truly is “Your Celestial Mirror”. Allow me to explain further.
Your birth chart is a magical, cosmic representation of you. It is not something that exists outside of you, exerting forces 
upon you, challenging your will to a kind of duel. No. Rather, I see it as a mirror~reflecting your highest potential, your gifts, your offering and your Path. It also indicates your lessons and challenges this lifetime~things that you must face so that you may learn from those experiences in order to grow and evolve as a Soul.
Through the awareness and understanding you gain as the dynamics of your own chart become known, you see the Divine Order that is reflected in your natal horoscope, Your Celestial Mirror, thus experiencing greater joy and clarity, less struggle with the way things are and a fuller sense of purpose.

~ Astrology and Free Will ~
Understanding the complexity of who we are is a big task.
Your natal chart holds keys to self-knowledge revealing who you truly are and what you are here to do from your Soul’s perspective. As you gain this understanding, Your Divine Self begins to shine through.
A reading can help you to focus on these higher frequencies of your own chart. Allow me to explain further.
Each aspect in your chart forms a pattern that is unique to you. And each pattern has a level of expression “from low to high”. Two people with the same or similar chart dynamics can have a very different life experience, based on their self-knowledge, and their willingness to learn, grow and evolve. A primary reason for this is how they choose to react to, or deal with and respond to those energies. Because there are choices.

This is based on your own free will and is the key to using your chart as a map of your soul, as a map laid out not only for you, but by you, to show you your own pattern. I believe that your work, challenges, lessons, offerings and gifts were all chosen by you at a higher level, prior to incarnating.
While there is no choice to what it is we each must do, there is complete choice as to how you do it, and if you do it. And the awareness that each of our charts can give us is a key and offers us profound tools to this end.
~ Our Life As It Is and Choice ~
There comes a turning point in each of our lives, or perhaps several, where we see that only by accepting our life as it is can we grow and that this very acceptance is how we enter a space where we move beyond that. We are exactly where we need to be and further, due to Universal Law, we can be no place else. And wishing it were different won’t change it. Awareness of why we are there is the beginning of shifting the pattern and opening new doorways.It is all about awareness of the energies acting upon us, and whether or not we choose to react from a higher (or lower) level. And this is what your natal chart can reveal~what these energies, or patterns, are and insights into how to respond to them.

~ Go To Greet ~
One of the approaches I take with clients, especially while being influenced by a challenging aspect, is to discuss what it is that a transit “wants” of them, or how they can best work with the energy. I often call this “Go To Greet”. This means don’t resist the influence but rather greet it. See what it is about and what it “wants”of you…what is it telling you?
I feel that by not resisting the influence, but rather working with it, you can benefit even from what could classically (by Astrology standards) be considered a challenging or difficult aspect.
I go into the various ways one can respond to a celestial influence, which opens up options perhaps not previously seen. I often refer to this process as being 3-fold.
- We can come from a place of resistance thus bringing forth the lower or more negative expressions of an aspect.
- We can come from a more neutral place, thus bringing forth the more mundane expressions.
- We can engage the energy, looking for the lessons and gifts by choice, thus bringing forth the more positive and growth-producing elements of an influence.
I have found that most will likely experience all three “levels” at some point during the time of influence, this being especially true with the longer, more potent Astrological influences. Having a clear(er) frame of reference for this can be most helpful in navigating a challenging time.
This particular approach often helps a client to move with the energies that are indeed approaching them anyway with greater harmony. It also assists in “explaining” why particular events are taking place in their lives and perhaps most importantly, how to work with the energies at hand and how long they will last.
There are often other aspects to this process as well, such as past life influences and patterns, hidden resistances, and many other topics to discuss with regard to Astrology and its influences, being a wonderfully rich, deep, and helpful subject.
