Thank you so much for this extremely powerful article! It has inspired me on many many levels. For one, this has been a recurring theme in my life for the last little while, and it was wonderful to have it reinforced.

I also had the wonderful opportunity to read this to my team at the beginning of our meeting. I believe it was very inspiring

Healing and remembering… I stood before a photo print of Native Americans; they wore the clothes of their own knowing and culture, the feathers in their hairs, and were lined up in a row bareback on their horses. In the background of the photo, were a few tall buildings; the Native Americans were in the midst of being deceived and shoved on to reservations. I stood before the framed photo at an Ethan Allen’s furniture outlet, realizing that we are all still struggling with the same issues and dynamics, now as then; the government is still running its agendas despite wether or not the citizens agree with it, and a major difference now is that we are in a global “turf war.” Individuals from every continent want some of the same resolutions: harmony, sustainable agriculture and living, respect, not to mention love and compassion, and to celebrate diversity and unity, community, communication. In healing ourselves, we can begin to heal with each other, asking – with what we have in common, how can we celebrate our diversities and work together for the common well being of all beings – the planet, all of the beings of Nature, the plants, the elements, our ancestors and spirit guides, all that is sacred. I find that sharing Gratitude openly causes beautiful things to transpire. Change is happening. I loved seeing the reminder “Physician, heal thy Self.”

Your article is so right on as to the feelings I have as the solar eclipse approaches. It is truly time to come home to ourselves and manifest what we signed up to do here. This will also require the act of going within (home) and being guided by those insights that will be so prevalent during this time. Each of us have a divine purpose that is calling……

You hit it right on. The Mother is allowing humanity to misuse her for a time so that we awaken and learn to work in harmony with her. This whole lela is taking place within the mind of God, and will eventually dissolve into light. However, until then, the duality is very real and is the play in which we are all learning to be conscious actors. As I said in my recent book, Adventures of a Western Mystic, mastery is achieved in daily life, where we can not bypass the emotions we have tried to repress. I couldn’t agree with you more, that this eclipse in Cancer will bring all those issues of feelings, emotions and how we relate to the earth to the surface. May all beings prosper!

Thank You Elizabeth !…it confirms exactly what has been happening and coming in for me all week….more releasing,detaching and homing in deeper. Caban in the Mayan Oracle cards (which I drew yesterday) talks about this very thing.

I totally resonate with the approach you are considering here… that more fully entering our bodies at this time, in a soul-filled way, is EXACTLY what the spirit of the earth is calling us to do. She does not want us to embrace her in a spirit of panic and mental fix-it modes. She simply yearns for our full-hearted, full-blooded, fully-embodied BEING-WITH Her. And we have lost our instincts for how to do this, our most natural inheritance.

I have created a divinatory set of cards and poems (Gaia’s Invitation)to assist in giving Gaia’s voice at this critical time. I pulled a card for this solar eclipse, inspired by your comments. Here is the poem, the significance of this particular from Gaia’s perspective…

You are built to tremble with me.
Stand in your tree-like stature
and let me shudder through you.
Loose me through your voice,
a soft or mighty roar,
and hold steady while the old walls crumble.
